03/23/05 — Off-Road
I just finished watching Two-Lane Blacktop so naturally I had to post this. I don't know a lot about old cars, but the one here looks an awful lot like the '55 Chevy that James Taylor and Dennis Wilson drive around in that movie. I like two things about this picture: the chrome (although it's a bit overexposed) and the way that wheel looks, buried halfway into the ground. Taken roughly 30 km West of Ithaca in a field containing, literally, dozens of old tractors and various pieces of rusty farm machinery.
