04/18/05 — Scorched Earth
Overlooking the abandoned Carbide Graphite plant located on the US side of Niagara Falls. Kendall and I went through a lot of the buildings on the property, but in the end the outdoor areas proved to be more interesting since they had a surreal end-of-the-world kind of atmosphere going on. Because of all the clutter though, making sense of it all with the camera proved to be a bit difficult so these pictures, taken close to the top of a coal silo, are probably the only ones I took that I feel do the place any sort of justice.
