Last one from the Blue Room. I always like ghost offices. When I first entered the area, a radio was barely tuned into some AM station and the computer was busy beeping away because apparently the temperature in the (uh) cyanide room was above a normal level. Still, all the dates on the timesheets, calendars, memos, newspapers ended sometime during the spring of 2003 which was around the same time the company had to let go of its remaining 170 employees because they could no longer compete with far cheaper (and as it turns out, illegal) Chinese imports of synthetic indigo dye.
And on a lighter note.. happy birthday, mom! And thanks a lot Kendall, for scaring the shit out of me by tapping on the window of this room while I was in there having a look around. Bastard.
