Taken inside Saint Marys Manor, a former catholic nursing home in Niagara Falls, NY that Kendall and I stumbled across this past Sunday while looking for abandoned factories. I think God was on our side in helping us inside this one. When we first arrived, we noticed that a door, normally deadbolted shut, had been left open a few inches. After I foolishly closed and locked it (don't ask) we ended up having to go look for some other way in. Unable to find anything else, we returned full circle only to find that the same door (the very same one I locked minutes earlier!) was now standing wide open for us again. Not knowing if this meant that someone had just entered the building or had just left, we decided to go in anyway, because really, opportunity rarely knocks twice. And besides, we didn't drive all the way from Toronto just to stand around outside in the cold.
