01/09/07 — Sit Still
I was fortunate enough to receive a scanner for Christmas. Ever since moving to Montreal, I'd been neglecting film because I no longer had access to a good film scanner at work. I also hated the thought of paying local labs to give me what amounted to dodgy low-res scans. So it's nice to be able to do it myself again and have some level of quality control. It's also nice to be able to shoot with the Hasselblad again. Creamy tones are hard to come by with digital, or at least they are with the lenses I have.
