| Taken during a recent trip to what was, until fairly recently, the world's largest magnesium production facility in the world. Actually, that probably makes the place sound a lot more interesting than it ended up being. While it was impressive in its scale, most of the areas we were in just didn't seem to have much character to them. Naturally, I found myself taking most of my photos in the vacated office areas. I wasn't sure if this one would turn out. The room was pretty dark which made it difficult to see if things were lined up properly through the camera's ground glass. It also wasn't sure if the minute-long exposure was going to be enough to bring out the details I wanted. Needless to say, I'm quite happy with the results. |
