Comments for: Couch Change
Must been a long time since anyone really resided there...I dont think I have ever seen paint peel like that before.
Excellent light and the positioning of the couch makes the shot. Without it, it may have been an empty, dirty hall.

is there a remote sitting on that couch? (on the left cushion).

Heh, it's actually a big modern calculator. I was a bit annoyed because I only noticed it after I did two shots and I thought for sure people would be able to tell that's what it was.

I didn't notice the calculator until I read about it. I did notice how the couch and the steps seem to tie the whole picture together. Great shot.

Good thing you had a nice, sturdy tripod for this shot ;)
Nice one, I never even tried shooting in the hall. I did enjoy the chapel though.
And welcome to the world of professional film labs. (Last I heard, Pikto sends all their BW and E6 to T.I.W. anyway).

I'm becoming increasingly jealous of the number of insanely interesting abandoned buildings you find to visit. As usual, great shot.

Wow, this is a super shot with great textures. The composition really works well.

Wow man, this is wonderful. That couch is an awesome subject.
This image reminds me of this guy's stuff: http://b.f11.org - I think you would like it, at least his 2005 work.

And yeah, I'm a bigger fan of TIW than Pikto.

Wondeful shot and I don;t think that the calculator detracts in any way.
I prefer West to TIW. TIW has done some weird cropping and colour work to some stuff in the past.

This shot is flat-out awesome--the stairs in the back, the peeling paint, the red couch. Man, I'm dying to find some good abandoned buildings! Alhough I DID recently break my camera, so I'll have to wait a bit. Or maybe I should just use the broken camera. Ahem. Anyway, really great shot.

Ah great shot! Translation?

It's one of your most interesting pictures. And that calculator isn't annoying at all. It gives a little funny "extra" ;-)
I agree with all the others: Really great shot.
