Hey, this model looks familiar! It was built at Kilborn Eng. in the late 80;s. CAD systems still had a lot of shortcomings, so models were built to help designers figure out how to route the piping and electrics through the structure. Although I had very little involvement in the project, I watched this model take shape in the shop over several months. I doubt very much if this technique is used anywhere these days.
